In *Shattered Mirror Corridor*, levels are divided into two symmetrical “mirror zones” (left and right). When the ball strikes a brick on the left, the corresponding brick on the right sustains equal damage. Shattering a brick on the left causes its counterpart on the right to vanish, and vice versa. Success requires you to consider the symmetry of the entire layout.
Across the 3,800 levels, the axis of symmetry may be vertical, horizontal, or even diagonal. Levels 1–1000 feature vertical symmetry; levels 1000–2000, horizontal symmetry; levels 2000–3000, diagonal symmetry; and levels 3000–3800, multi-axis symmetry (where one brick corresponds to multiple symmetrical counterparts). There are also “Mirror-Breaking Bricks” that, when hit, temporarily disrupt the symmetry for three seconds.
In each level, you can choose between a “conservative strategy” (hitting only one side at a time) or a “risky strategy” (activating both sides simultaneously). The risky strategy yields higher scores per hit but makes it easy to lose focus on one side while attending to the other. A special “Mirror Clone” power-up allows the paddle to move symmetrically as well, though this increases control difficulty. 3,800 levels—a strategic game of symmetry.
