“Starry Slingshot” transports you to a starry world made of glowing bricks. The core gameplay involves controlling a paddle to bounce a ball repeatedly through brick formations until all bricks are cleared. Bricks come in three colors: red (requires 1 hit), blue (2 hits), and green (3 hits).
The 1,100 levels offer a progressive challenge. The first 200 levels familiarize you with basic bounce angles; after Level 400, “Gravity Bricks” appear, gently pulling the ball toward them and altering its trajectory; beyond Level 800, you’ll encounter moving “Patrol Bricks.” The goal of each level is to clear all bricks within a set number of shots; otherwise, you must restart.
Special mechanics include “Slow-Motion Mode”—when you are about to miss the ball, you can manually trigger this feature to cut the ball’s speed in half, giving you extra time to react. Additionally, hitting bricks ten times in a row without the ball touching the ground triggers a “screen-wide shockwave” that shatters nearby bricks. With layouts ranging from simple arrangements to complex mazes, the 1,100 levels offer plenty of opportunities to hone your ball-bouncing skills.
