In *Crystal Cluster Barrage*, bricks are arranged in a radial pattern resembling crystal clusters. When a ball strikes a crystal, it shatters into 3–6 smaller crystal fragments (mini-projectiles) that scatter outward and can break other crystals, potentially triggering a chain reaction from a single shot. However, large crystals explode upon shattering, creating a shockwave that affects nearby balls.
The 2,100 levels feature varying crystal cluster densities and shapes. The first 500 levels contain only single clusters; levels 500–1,100 introduce multiple isolated clusters that must be connected using the fragments; levels 1,100–1,600 add “Absorber Crystals” that consume and eliminate any fragments that touch them; and levels 1,600–2,100 present a dual challenge involving both time limits and a cap on the number of fragments allowed.
Can you control the direction of the large crystal’s explosion? Not directly, but by choosing which crystal to strike first based on your launch angle, you can steer the resulting shockwave. Each level tracks a “Fragment Count,” requiring you to trigger at least 30 fragments to clear the stage. A “Slow-Motion Replay” feature helps you analyze where a chain reaction might have stalled. 2,100 levels—one shot can decide it all.
